It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernice Bryant, who was born on February 24, 1933, in Albany, New York, United States. She peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 92.

Bernice was the beloved daughter of Ozella Sims and was the devoted partner of Mother. Together, they raised eight wonderful children: Liza, Gloria, Jesse, Betty, Jerome, Valley, Dennis, and Lavell.

Bernice was a loving and caring mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was also a doting grandmother to her eight grandchildren.

Aside from her family, Bernice had a passion for fishing and knitting crafts. She enjoyed spending her free time pursuing these hobbies, finding joy and solace in nature and creativity.

Bernice's legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved matriarch.

May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
