KRAMERBernard (Bernie) George Kramer, age 76, of Ft. Wright, KY., passed away on August 20,2017 the feast day of St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Bernie was born on November 15, 1940, in Melbourne, KY, the youngest of 11 children. Bernie graduated from Newport Catholic High School and Thomas More College. He proudly served in the US Army, stationed in Fort Knox. His business career included sales, warehouse management , and display construction. Bernie's warm and friendly personality was known by all who loved him. His corny jokes were appreciated by his many relatives and friends. He was eager to remind people on the 25th ogf every month about the countdown to Christmas. He also loved University of Kentucky basketball, Notre Dame football, Disney World and the Smoky Mountains. He and Joyce enjoyed traveling, especially in Ireland and Bernie looked forward to local German festivals. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Borne) Kramer, son Doug Kramer (Tammy), daughter Laura Knight (Michael), son Steven George Kramer( Theresa), son Danny Kramer (Laura). Grandchildren Abby, Alex, Brendan, Katie, Katelynn (Evan), Trey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at St. Agnes Church. Mass of Christain Burial will follow at 11:30 am. Burial St. John Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright are serving the family.
