Benjamin "Benny" Smith

Born on November 23, 1964, in Woodbridge, Virginia, Benny was known for his infectious smile and positive attitude. He brought joy to everyone he met and lived a full life until his passing on April 3, 2023. He was 58 years old.

Benny's mother, Mandy Smith, was a constant source of love and support throughout his life. Benny married Nathen Bisoken in 2009, and the two shared many adventures together. Although they had no children of their own, they were beloved by their nieces and nephews and often took them on trips to the beach or amusement parks.

Benny had many passions in life, including woodworking, gardening, and cooking. He was always eager to share his latest creations with his friends and family. Benny was also a huge sports fan and loved going to Nationals games with Nathen. Despite his many interests, Benny's greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 2pm. Friends and family are welcomed one hour prior to the service.

Preston and Sons Funeral Home of Manassas is serving the family. Arrangements being made with care by Funeral Director Julie Prescott.

Memorial Contributions can be made to #supportsamesexmarriage, in Benny’s name. A douse he was very passionate about.

Benny will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his father, who passed away when Benny was only 10 years old. Rest in peace, Benny. You will always be remembered for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering positivity.
