Belanda Jenkins-Uwadiale, born on May 26, 1962, in Ibada, Kaduna State, Nigeria, peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Orlando and Cora Lee Jenkins and was the loving partner of Henry Uwadiale. Belanda is survived by her three children: Connie Jenkins, Nina Jenkins-Mcmullen (spouse Celita Mcmullen), and Angelo Jenkins (spouse Chantal Jenkins), as well as her nine adoring grandchildren, Na’Tori Davis, Shyleek Wright, David Payne, Skye Payne, Alexis Rowland, Allana Jenkins, Nyla Jenkins, Makyhi Jenkins, Lashan Mcmullen, and great granddaughter Audrey Davis

Belanda attended New Bern High School and furthered her education at Costal Carolina Community College. She had a successful career as a self-employed individual, where she thrived in her passion for breeding dogs and enjoyed traveling, cooking, spending time with family, and fishing in her spare time.
Belanda will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
