Beatrice Burns Behan was born on Sept. 10, 1942, in New York. Beatrice passed away the morning of January 22, 2013, in her home.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Behan; her mother, Beatrice Burns; and her brother, William Burns.

Beatrice was a kind, loving and generous person who valued God, family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Rast and Beatrice Davis; her son in laws, Jeffrey Stichter and Erle Davis who were more like sons to her. Her grandsons, Evan Stichter and Erle James Davis, who made her proud and made her heart smile. She also leaves behind her sweet companion, Duke; and her extended family, Martha Brennan, Mary Yerger, and Lori Prysock.

Services will be private per family request.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a written special memory, photo or story shared with Beatrice to be sent to the home to be shared with her grandchildren at a later time.
