Barrington Gallimore, born on January 23, 1944, passed away on June 1, 2024, in Montego Bay, Saint James Parish, Jamaica. He was a beloved husband to Maryann Gallimore, married for 47 years. Together, they raised nine children.
He was a devoted father to Abraham Gallimore and his spouse Deborah Gallimore, David Gallimore and his spouse Amy Thomas Gallimore, Hannah Gallimore, Eleazor Gallimore and his spouse Chevelle Gallimore, Benjamin Gallimore and his spouse Adinah Gallimore, Joseph Gallimore and his spouse Ladonna Gallimore, Joanne Johnson and her spouse Aaron Johnson, and Ruth Gallimore Campbell and her spouse Glenmore Campbell. Barrington was also a loving grandfather to Danielle Gallimore, Daniel Gallimore, Andrew Gallimore, Jacob Johnson, Darius Johnson, Noah Campbell, Susanne Campbell, Isiah Gallimore, Isaac Gallimore, and Shavoy Gallimore. He was a proud Great grandfather to twenty six great grandchildren
Barrington attended St. James Highschool high school and graduated in 1963. He went on to work at Jamaican National Group as a Quality Engineering Lead until his retirement in 2012. Barrington was also known for his involvement in the West Bible Church.
Outside of his professional life, Barrington enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and dedication to his loved ones.
