    Barcey was a part of our family for many years, he was married to my sister, Shirley. & always showed his love to our family. He was kind & caring. He will be greatly missed by all that knew & loved him!

  • A life well lived

    Barcey Lee Rogers,

    Peacefully passed away at the age of 88 on August 12, 2024, in Hartford, Michigan. Barcey was born on October 10, 1935, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, to Mack Rogers and Reba Sutton. Throughout his life, Barcey experienced both joy and sorrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his two loving wives, Shirley Johnson and Faith Wolf. He also mourned the loss of his son, Robert Rogers, and two daughters, Vera Barr and Bobbi Jo Tidey. Barcey was also predeceased by his brother Ross Rogers, sisters Linda Williams and Faye Gorkey, and granddaughters Tiffany Tidey and Sarah Wagner.

    Barcey is survived by his sister, Sue Hall, and brother, Norman Rogers (Shelia). He is also survived by his four children, Richard, Paul, Julie Wolf, and Raymond Rogers, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he cherished deeply.

    Barcey dedicated 50 years of his life to working at Michigan Fruit Canners, where he made lasting friendships and valuable contributions to the community. Beyond his career, Barcey had a passion for gardening and took great pride in cultivating a bountiful garden Though he may be gone, Barcey Rogers will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on, Rest in peace, Barcey, and may your spirit continue to bloom in the gardens of our hearts forever.

    Memorial services will be held Saturday August 31st, 2024 at 1:00 at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hartford, Michigan
