She passed away on November 4, 2016 in Lehigh Acres.Barbara is survived by her daughter Denise (Ward) Watkins; son Richard "Lee" (Christina) Haight Jr.; 5 grandchildren Justin Haight, Misty Watkins, Eric Watkins, Daniella Haight, and Joshua Haight. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Chilton Thomas, her parents, and brothers Glenn Yates, Robert Yates, and Donald Yates.The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 1:30 pm - 3 pm at the Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 pm. Barbara will be laid to rest in Flatlick Cemetery in Kentucky with her husband.
