Barbara Ruth Zeller, 74, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on November 27, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on June 1, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri and resided in Anderson, Indiana since she graduated college. Barbara graduated Kansas City East High School in 1960, and from Elmhurst College in 1964. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, where she was involved in the Library, sending cards, P.W., Bell Choir, Nikophilia, C.E. Comm, being an Elder, and she was Primary Superintendent for 20 years. She was also involved in the AAUW, The Victoria Guild, and she was an Adult Scout Commissioner, and a Cub Scout Leader. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and attending family reunions. She liked to travel to different resorts, and Europe. Barbara also enjoyed the ASO, music, photography, collecting nativities, sending cards, and attending Indianapolis Colts games with her season tickets. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gary Zeller of Anderson, son, Phil (Laura) Zeller of Ames, IA, grandchildren, Megan, Brittany, and Zach Zeller, daughter, Melinda (Roger) Smith of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Morghan Cyr, and Tanner Cyr, step-grandchildren, Destiny Green, Sandra Smith, and Michael Smith, step great- grandchildren, Grayson Green, and Wyatt Green, mother-in-law, Ruth Zeller of Boonville, MO, brother-in-law, Wayne (Jacki) Zeller of Excelsior Springs, MO, brother-in-law, Gene (Betty) Zeller of Blue Springs, MO, brother-in-law, Bruce (Tina) Zeller of Boonville, MO, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude (Kratzer) Tague in 2011, and her father, Walter Tague in 1992, who were involved with Tague Television in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2016, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana. Services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church, 230 West Ninth Street, Anderson, IN 46016, with Pastor Kevin Bausman officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday at the church. Cremation will take place with burial at Anderson Memorial Park at a later date.
