Barbara JeanWeekley Carey1930-2017Barbara Jean Weekley Carey, 86, of Milton, FL passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was born on March 4, 1930 in Pensacola, FL and graduated from Pensacola High School. Barbara was a life-long member of the Mary Martha Sunday school class and Priscilla Circle at Gadsden St. United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Charles Alexander Carey, USMC ret. and a daughter, Charlotte Carey.Barbara is survived by her son, Homer Carey; daughter, Janine (Stephan) Mandris; grandsons, Kyle and Troy Mandris and her sisters, Audrey Baldwin and Elaine (Joe) Williams along with her brothers, Raymond Weekley and Kenneth (Jane) Weekley.Visitation will be held at 10am Thursday, March 2, 2017 with a funeral cortege to depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 10:30am for Graveside services at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11am.A Memorial Service will follow at 1:30pm at Gadsden St. United Methodist Church with a reception and time of visitation following. Rev. Gail Baughman will be officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gadsden St. United Methodist Church, 901 E.
