MARTIN, Barbara Elizabeth 91, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2016. She was born on September 24, 1925 in Charles City, Iowa to Anna Marie and Jay Joseph Smith. She married Arville Dean Martin on November 5, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa; they were married for 35 years until his passing in 1991. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents; sisters, Mary Ann, Saphina, Jane, Anna Marie and Joan; brothers, Richard and Alfred. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Donna) Martin and Michael Martin; and daughter, Katherine Gedney. Barbara will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother.
