Barbara A. Gibson, 72, of Horse Shoe passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016. She was born on February 21, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Gordon C. Arrowood and Dorothy G. Arrowood-Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Gibson III. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm in the chapel.
