Barbara Louise Kirtley Hommel, 68, of St. Charles, KY, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, 

She was born on July 19, 1956, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Ronnette Hester O’Donnell and Virgil Kirtley. She retired as a manager from O’Donnell’s Tap House.

Survived by her husband of forty-six years, Harold (Butch) Hommel ; sons, Gary York, David (Keli) York ,Terry (Elizabeth) Hommel; daughter, Cindy (John) Heer; sisters, Carmen Helleson, Kerry O’Donnell, and Rebecca Kirtley; grandchildren, Gabriel (MacKenzie) York, Ryan York, Tasha (Scott) Wells, Brian Major, Devin Rice, and Trey Hommel; several great-grandchildren; Aunt of Mike Kovalski, Shannon O'Donnell, and Morgan and Sarah Raymond.

Celebration of life ceremony to be held Saturday May 17th 2025 at Noon, at the South Mastic Picnic area of the Metro Parks, located near mastic woods golf course and the ridding stables.
