Arturo Sepulveda was born on May 25, 1968, to Arturo and Hortencia Sepulveda. In 1997, he received his Bachelor of Computer Science in Engineering from UTEP. He went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration from UTEP in 2005. Arturo married his first love, Arelee Ramirez, on November 28, 1998. Arturo was a member of First Baptist Church of El Paso where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher. Arturo worked as an GIS Administrator at El Paso Water. He enjoyed photography, hiking, and his dogs. After serving a year as Head Deacon, Arturo vowed that he would continue to serve the Lord until the completion of his journey here on earth. Following a courageous battle with cancer, Arturo's journey came to an end on August 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Arelee, his parents, Arturo and Hortencia, and his sister, Grace. The family would like to thank the employees of El Paso Water for their generosity. Thanks also to our church family and friends who made visits, sent cards and flowers, and other kind gestures. Special thanks to Dr. Ines Sanchez for never giving up when others did. Visitation for Arturo will be Thursday, August 31st at 6:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00pm at First Baptist Church, 805 Montana. Burial will be Friday, September 1st, meeting at Martin Funeral Central at 11:00am and traveling to Restlawn cemetery.
