We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our brother Arturo "Tutty" Balderrama, 53, who was born on June 11, 1971, and peacefully passed away on October 4, 2024, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, United States. He was the son of Johnny Balderrama and Socorro "Suqi" Coyazo Balderrama.

Arturo, lovingly known as Tutty, was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gilberto "Berto" Balderrama and his nephew James Martin Jr.

He is survived by his spouse of 22 years Thelma Perea. His brother Juan (Monica) Balderrama and his sisters Raquel "Princess" (Steve) Arredondo and Monica Balderrama.

His sons Corey Bullard, Stephen Garcia, Adam Balderrama, Aaron Balderrama, Tyler Balderrama, and Nicholas Balderrama. His nephew Angel Martin and nieces Brianna Melon Nuñez and Adrianna Martin Childers

Arturo attended Alamogordo High School and graduated in 1990. He dedicated his career to the Alamogordo High School working in the cafeteria, where he made a positive impact on countless lives.

Outside of work, Arturo had a passion for umpiring at softball games. His dedication, kindness, and love for his family and community will be forever remembered.

Arturo will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.

Services will be on November 14th 2024 at ICC on Delaware in Alamogordo, NM with visitation at 9:30am, rosary at 10am, Mass at 10:30am with burial to follow at Catholic cemetery.

Food afterwards at the Mountain View Church on Cuba Ave.
