Arthur L. CatlinMesquite, NVArthur LeRoy Catlin, 69, passed away on January 27, 2017 in his home in Mesquite, NV. Arthur was born on May 30, 1947 in Newburg, OR to Andrew Allen and Isabelle (Younger) Catlin.Arthur was raised in Portland and attended Centennial High School. He married Susan Gaske soon after and had three children, but later, they were divorced. At age 18, Arthur started working for Colyar Motor Sales company which later became Rayloc, a Division of Genuine Parts Company. In 1981, he was transferred to the Rayloc, Payson, UT plant as their Production Manager, and on April 1, 1987, was promoted to General Manager. On August 7, 1987, he married Sandra Jill Keel Baldwin and they made Payson their home. He knew the company inside and out, and under his direction the plant broke many production records and received numerous awards. He worked for another twenty years and then he retired from Rayloc May of 2007 with a total forty-two years of service. In 2013, Arthur and Sandra moved to Mesquite, NV, and just celebrated twenty-nine happy years of marriage in 2016.Arthur was a generous, caring, and loving man who had a fun personality and was respected by those who knew him. He enjoyed numerous hobbies such as bowling, boating, snowmobiling, golfing, hunting, camping, four-wheeling, and spending time with family and friends. He will be truly missed by all.Arthur is survived by his wife Sandra Jill Keel Catlin; his daughters: Cherie Catlin, Sheila (Blane) Puderbaugh, and Kristie Catlin; his stepsons: Shane Baldwin, Shawn Baldwin, and Shad Baldwin; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; and his sister, Gerry Ann (Cullen K.) Grives. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Andrew A. Catlin (Linda), and his sister Margaret Slater (Larry).Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. MST in the Fillmore LDS Stake Center, 25 South 300 West, Fillmore, UT, following a Visitation at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services will be held after the Funeral Services at the Fillmore City Cemetery.
