Arnold Roland MagnelliKlamath Falls, ORArnold Roland Magnelli, 77, went home to be with the Lord April 28, 2017 in Klamath Falls, Oregon, surrounded by his family. Arnie was born on August 26, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA to Roland Anthony Magnelli and Bette Hay (Dailey). He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1957. He enlisted in the
United States Navy in 1958 and served for 6 years. He met his first wife, Jeri Shelton, while both served on the USS Saratoga in New York. They married in Aliquippa in 1961, and started a family. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Arnie earned a degree from
Penn State University. He began his career with Retail Credit Company, who later became Equifax, Inc. In 1983, he moved his family to Naples, Florida to be close to family and explore many different career choices including F & I manager, painter, driver and croupier. Arnie enjoyed golf, painting, politics, reading, crossword puzzles, music, dancing, and sports, especially his beloved Pittsburgh teams, and making people laugh with his endless silly jokes. He hosted many charity golf tournaments sponsored by Harold's Place to raise funds and awareness for Avow Hospice of Naples and The Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Arnie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Patrick. He is survived by sister Barbara Magnelli, four adored daughters, Debbie Conner of Klamath Falls, OR, Sheri Pepple (Mike) of Houston, TX, Kristin Gilbert of Naples, FL, and Dawn Wolfram (Neal) of Klamath Falls, OR. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in his honor Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his favorite establishment, Harold's Place Chickee Bar, from 2pm-5pm at 2555 Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34103. Children are welcome to enjoy the pool.
