Arlene (Dudevoir) Morin, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband and children in Bridgewater on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the age of 81. Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Walter Morin of Bridgewater and their seven children; Michael and Leslie Morin of Mooresville, N.C., Peter and Carolyn Morin of Brookline, NH.., Martha and Keith Mader of Raynham, Suzanne and Gary Davis of Taunton, Paul and Karen Morin of Simpsonville, S.C., David and Donna Morin of Raynham and Lynne Morin of Raynham. She will also be greatly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Arlene was born on April 28, 1935 in Lowell, Mass. to the late Charles and Martha Dudevoir. She married Walter Morin and then moved to Bridgewater where they have resided for over 55 years. Arlene was an active member in the St Basil's Chapel community. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets and hats for infants most of which she donated to the needy in the community. She also knitted Christmas stockings to send to servicemen and women stationed overseas during Christmas time. She and Walter enjoyed traveling extensively all over the country visiting all 50 states. They spent many summers at Fransted Campground in New Hampshire and winters in Bonita Springs, Fla. Her greatest joy however was being with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul on Wednesday, November 23, at 10 a.m. in St. Basil Chapel (at Bridgewater State University), 122 Park St., Bridgewater.
