Antonio Garcia, 89, of Calexico passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. He was born on May 15, 1925 in Michoacan, Mexico and was married to Dora A. Garcia on October 27, 1951 in Salinas, CA and resided in Calexico since 1970. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 56 years, Dora A. Garcia; daughter-in-law, Rosario Garcia. He is survived by his children, Tony (Mary) Garcia, Norma (Vicente) Ortiz, Lupita (George) Marshall, Trini Garcia, Enrique (Christina) Garcia, Dora (Oscar) Alcaraz, Alberto (Maricela); 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico. Burial will be held on September 10, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery in Calexico.
