We gather here today to mourn the passing of Anthony Slay, who has left us far too soon at the young age of 20. Born on September 30, 2004, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, Anthony was known for his infectious laughter and love of life.

Despite his young age, Anthony had a passion for rapping and could often be found freestyling with his friends in his spare time. His lyrical skills were unmatched and his rhymes always brought a smile to the faces of those around him.

Anthony is survived by his father, Fredrick Shannon,his mother, Carveyette Gilmore and sister Raveyaira Gilmore. He had no children of his own, but he leaves behind a host of friends and family who will always remember him fondly.

While we mourn the loss of Anthony, let us also remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Anthony. Your raps will live on in our hearts forever.
