  • A life well lived

    Anthony L Golla went to be with our Savior on January 31st 2025. Anthony L. (Tony) Golla was born July 16, 1941. He was one of 7 children born to Lucy and Ben L. Golla of San Antonio, Texas. Anthony finished his education at Saint Gerard’s high school and went on to serve in the Navy for four years. He was stationed over a year in the Philippines as an Airport Rescue Firefighter and on returning to the United States he joined his brother Bernard Golla’s appliance repair business, and worked with Bernard for many years. Anthony opened his own business Quality Installation Company in 1972 and it was very successful . When Anthony’s son Michael opened his own business Anthony went on to work with Michael until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved spending time on the water fishing with his family in Rockport, Texas His greatest source of love, enthusiasm, and dedication in life was his three children; his son Michael, his twin daughters Susanna and Stephanie and his 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Anthony is proceeded in death by his mother (Lucy) and father (Bernard) his brothers Stanley, Bernard, and Walter, his daughter, Stephanie, and his granddaughter Julie. He is survived by his son, Michael(Terri) his daughter, Susanna (Marcus) his former wife and life time friend Sandra, his brothers, Jerry(Dianne) George, his sister Marie, sister-in-law Mary Lee, his grandchildren, Joshua(Hannah), Emily(Russell), Kyle(Julia), Madison(Matthew), Hailey(T.J), Rianne (Matthew), Rylie(Ronald), Marcus II, Jordan (Jordan), Michael, and great grandchildren Wyatt, Johanna, Emma, Harriett, Daniel, and Lincoln.

    Anthony was a very active member of our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Lacoste, Texas.

    Funeral services will be held at Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, Texas, and he will be entered into rest with his departed family members in the Annunciation Catholic Cemetery.

    Visitation 9:30am

    Rosary 10:00am

    Funeral Mass 10:30am

    Burial procession

    We will have light refreshments in the social hall following the funeral. Anthony loved the costal waters in Rockport and surrounding areas and we are asking in lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to
