It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony West Jr., who was born on September 9, 2009, and passed away on May 21, 2025, in Colonial Beach, Virginia.

Anthony was the beloved son of his mother Sharon Cox, father Anthony West Sr, and step father Emmitt Cox.

Anthony was a student at Colonial Beach High School where he worked hard to pursue his education. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball, cheering on his favorite team, the Washington Redskins, and spending quality time with his loved ones. Anthony will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Anthony leaves behind his two siblings Curtis Kelly and Marissa Adams.

He is survived by his Grandparents : Molly Pollard and Mary E West. Four Aunts: Sylvia Dodge (Kelly), Terry Loving, Karen Adams, and Kimberly Banks, One Uncle: Elijah Adams. Four Great Uncles: Raymond West, William H. West, Stanley West, and Odell Whiting. He will be dearly missed by a few others: Cheyenne Adams, Ann Adams, Elijah "Bug" Adams, and Isaiah Adams.

He had a passion for life and will always be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit.
