Anthony Wilson, lovingly known as "Tony" to his friends and family, passed away on May 4th, 2023 in Kankakee, Illinois, at the age of 25 due to an unfortunate incident of gun violence.
Born on January 19th, 1998, Tony was the son of Robert and Anna Wilson. He spent his life in Kankakee and was proud of his hometown. After graduating from Kankakee High School in 2018, Tony joined the workforce and proudly worked at Burger King for several years.
In 2021, Tony found love with his spouse, Kimberly Valentina. Despite not having any children of their own, Tony and Kimberly lived a joyful life full of love and laughter.
Tony will be remembered for his jovial personality and witty sense of humor. He always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. Tony was a big fan of fishing and spending time with his friends over a cold beer.
While his passing is a tragedy, we choose to remember Tony for the joy he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Tony, and thank you for all the laughs.
Lamentations 3:22-26, 31-33
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.

Details: His Journey Has just Begun.
Don't think of him as Gone away
His Journey has Just Begun
Life holds so many facets,
this Earth is only one.
Just think of Him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of comfort
where there are no days and no years.
Think of how he must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those she touched.
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and He was loved so much.
