Annette TolbertShreveport - Annette was born on May 20, 1952 in Shreveport to John Maston Yeates Sr and Marguerite Elizabeth Hicks Yeates. She passed away October 13, 2017. A memorial service will be held 1pm Friday, October 20, 2017, at Aulds Funeral Home.She was preceded in in death by her parents, brother John Maston Yeates Jr. and husband Jack D. Tolbert. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Jean Yeates Jeter of Carthage, Texas. Step children; Heather Tolbert and Josh Tolbert, Cousins Tommy and Beverly Yeates. Cousins Carol and Carl Krebs.Annette was a gifted artist and illustrator, She graduated from Northwood High School and later attended Louisiana Tech University for both under graduate and graduate studies in fine arts, illustration and designs. A past member of the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport.She retired as head of the art department at Caddo Career and Technology Center.Annette was a member of Trinity Height Baptist Church.
