Annette M. Iacovetta Rocco, 96, of Erie, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Saint Vincent Health Center, after a brief illness. Annette was born on November 22, 1920, in Forli Del Sannio, Italy, a daughter of the late Frank and Pasqualina Melaragno Iacovetta. She came to the United States when she was 9 years old. At a young age, she worked at Pulakos Candy, The Calabrese Club, Goldfarbs, and Leeds Women's Apparel, where she modeled clothing. Annette was a smart business woman who managed many income properties she acquired through the years. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the casino with her husband and friends. She was a great mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Annette was dearly loved by her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 72 years, Gene Rocco; her two brothers, Al and Joe Iacovetta; and granddaughter, Alycia Campany; and infant granddaughter, Jennifer Campany. Annette is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Vendetti (Richard) of Erie and Suzanne Campany (Andrew) of Valencia, California. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Julie Vendetti-Hoffman and Anthony Vendetti; and four great- grandchildren, Santino and Vera Marie Vendetti and Gabriella and Annalise Hoffman. Family and friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, Erie, PA 16502, at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul RC Church.
