Ann Mandli RACINE Ann Mandli, 92, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Friday, March 4, 2016. Ann was born on March, 1923 in Poland the daughter of the late Kasmir and Helen Bazylewicz. Ann came to Racine in 1926. She graduated from Park High School in 1941, and started working for Miller Brothers Insurance Company after high school. On February 12, 1944 in Racine she was united in marriage to Frank R. Mandli at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in December of 1990. Ann started a career as a legal secretary working for Harley Brown and Dexter Black, then Adrian Schoone. She also had the opportunity to serve as president of the Legal Secretaries Association. After a 43-year career and eight children she retired in 1984. Ann spent time as a girl scout leader and a den mother. She enjoyed camping and fishing up north with her family and friends, dancing hosting dinner parties at her home and volunteering to visit church members who were sick and hospitalized. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards. She was also an avid Packer fan. She loved playing with and taking care of her grandchildren and now seeing all of her great grandchildren. She was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Ann is survived by her sons, Franklin, Casmir (Jodi), Gary (Silvia), Michael (Patricia) Mandli all of Racine; daughters, Janet Hardaway of Racine, Terry Ann Wallace Mandli of Sheboygan, Helen (Dusty) Mohrbacher of Elk Hart Lake; grandchildren, Theresa (Lashon) Joshua, John Hardaway, Travis (Lena) Mandli, Cameron (Nicole) Mandli, Melodie (Shane) Hawpetoss, Riley Wallace, Kelsey Wallace, Amanda (Laura) Hart, Merrisa (Fakebba) Touray, Megan Hart, Maria Mandli Velaquez, Thomas, and Crystal Mandli, Gina (Pete) Hannemann, Lori (Kevin) Garvin; great grandchildren, Amaree, Ayden, Travis, Jr., Mason, Emmalee, Gabe, Patrick, Grace, Graham, Leah, Britany (Bill) Kevin, Keith, Justin, Camryn, Codie, Kaely; sister, Charlotte (Robert) Barina; in-laws, Alex (Jean) Mandli, Paul (Rosemary) Mandli, Jean Mandli, Esther Kammien, Beverly Mandli; special friends, Karen and Vince Miskinis; God children, Rosemary Murtha, Peter Mandli, Jr, and Susan Miller; many loving nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Joan Mandli; brother, Edward Bazylewicz; many brother and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass for Ann will be held at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 12 noon celebrated by Rev. Steve Varghese. Per Anns wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 12 noon.
