Angie Robinson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on March 10, 2025, at a nursing home in Raleigh, North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 09, 1946, Angie grew up in a close-knit family where she learned the values of kindness, compassion, and hard work. Angie dedicated her life to teaching and nurturing young minds as a youth counselor for several outreach communities.
Angie had an extraordinary ability to connect with children, fostering a love for learning that shaped the lives of thousands of youths. Angie provided a place of creativity, laughter, and encouragement, and her impact was felt long after her clients moved on.
Outside of her career, Angie was known for her faith, as well as creating love and fellowship with everyone she encountered. She understood the values of what it meant to always make time for one another. Her devotion to Christ, as well as her family, will always be an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Angie is survived by her seven children, Annetta Price (John), Brian Robinson (Rebecca), Eric Robinson (Shawnette), George Robinson (Rosaland), Jamie Givens (Joe), Mark Robinson (Susan), and Sheila Robinson; her grandchildren, Alicia, Allison, Bianca, Brianna, Chris, Clarence, Erika, Iesha, Jasmine, Jennifer, Larson, Makendra, Monica, Morgan, Nicole, Richard, Shameeka, Shaleena, Stephan, Tanisha, Tyleisa, Tony, Tracy, Tristain, and Jason; and her siblings, Patricia and William. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Robinson.
