It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andriy (Andrew/Andy) Wowk on April 19, 2023, in Warren, Michigan, United States. He was born on May 24, 1965 in Detroit to his loving parents Bohdan Wowk and Tamara Wowk-Dechtiar. Brother is Taras Wowk.

Andriy leaves behind his two beloved children, Savannah Wowk and bonus daughter, Chloe Dina. Their Mother, Theresa Dina was in a realtionship for a long time with Andy, but both separated, but stayed good friends. Pet parent of Angel, Jameson, Blackie, Venus, Heidi, He attended Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic High School, graduating in 1983, before continuing his studies at Michigan State University for 4 years. Andriy was also an excellent soccer player, semi pro. He played Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey, too. Andriy was proud of his Ukranian heritage and was fluent in Ukranian, Russian, and Polish. Andriy was very funny and could and would make anyone laugh with his hilarious impersonations and jokes.

Andriy worked at Triple Crown Watch And Clock Repair in Troy, Michigan starting in 2017 and leaving for a few months for a roofing job with an old friend in 2018. He stayed there and didn't leave until he passed away. He was known for his dedication and craftsmanship. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, singing, listening to music, and watching Jeopardy.

Tragically, Andriy passed away from a heart attack caused by Arteriosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease, with the left artery that supplies blood to the heart being blocked. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
