Veronica Wegener, 70, entered eternal life peacefully on May 24, 2021. Veronica was born on March 19, 1951 in West Helena, Arkansas. Attended Barton High with her two older sisters Peggy and Irene. Her family later moved to South Elgin, Illinois. Veronica enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Cody and William. Growing up they spent most summers with her camping at Yogi Bear, and going to the beachs in Wisconsin. Later as they got older they would always visit during the weekends, and holidays at their "Gs" house helping prepare family dinners. Veronica is survived by her Daughter Tammy, Grandchildren Cody and William. Veronica was preceded in death by her Parents Ana Wegener (1982) & Peter Wegener (1989), Peggy Wegener (2010) & Irene Wegener (2007) Visitation will be held Saturday June 5th 10:00am until the time of Mass 11:00am at St Mary's Romanian Church, 4225 N. Central, Chicago. Interment Rosehill Cemeter, Chicago.
