Andrew Craig Lartigue was born February 11, 1963 in Cape Fear, North Carolina to Fred Lartigue and Cynthia Smith. He was raised in Birmingham, Alabama where he attended John Carroll Chatholic High School, graduating in 1981. Andy attended the University of Alabama and received his degree in Biology in 1985, he was also a member of Delta Chi fraternity.

For many years after college, Andy worked for The University of Birmingham Police Department. But anyone who knew Andy, knew his love of computers and Information Technology whichdrew him to Atlanta where he worked for Coca Cola Enterprises and Turner Broadcasting. His talents and innate skills to manage technology, particularly Apple based products and software, took him to opportunities for employment in The Villages, Florida and ultimately Apple. 

Health battles took their toll on Andy and exhausted him. He made brave efforts to keep his body moving forward for the sake of his family, but ultimately his body gave up. Andy was welcomed into Heaven on July 23, 2023. 

Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bessie and Fred Lartigue II and Eleanor and Carl Smith. He is survived by his four children: Taylor Lartigue, Bethany (Lartigue)Fiore, Grace Lartigue and Jillian Lartigue. Son in law, Steve Fiore and two grandchildren, Luke and Greyson. He is also survived by his parents, brother and sister: Cynthia Smith and Fred Lartigue III, Jayme Lartigue and Leighanne Lartigue. 

Andy enjoyed classic rock and roll, good cigars and he loved animals. He was a kind soul, a friend to anyone.
