SOUTHINGTON - Amy (McDermott) Frascatore, 86, of Plantsville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at her home. She was the wife of William Frascatore.Amy was born on July 15, 1930, in New York, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mae (O'Connor) McDermott. Amy had been employed by Stanley Works, retiring from there. She was also a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.Besides her husband she is survived by nephews, Steven, Jarod, and Michael, of New York; along with several nieces and nephews in Connecticut and Arizona. She was predeceased by three sisters; and one brother.The family would like to thank Sister Catherine Mary of the Franciscan Home for her help and comfort during Amy's last days.Amy's wishes were for family and friends to go directly to church for a Mass on Friday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., in Plantsville. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington. Donations may be made in her memory to Franciscan Home Care and Hospice, 267 Finch Ave., Meriden, CT 06451.
