Amerah Lowry, beloved resident of Washington DC, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, just one day shy of her 15th birthday.

Amerah was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and love of all things chocolate. She could often be found sneaking extra cookies from the cookie jar or trying to convince her friends that she was actually a secret agent working for the CIA.

Despite her young age, Amerah was a master at avoiding her chores and homework, always finding creative ways to distract herself from the mundane tasks of daily life. She will be remembered for her spirited personality and her uncanny ability to talk her way out of any situation.

In lieu of flowers, Amerah's family requests that you honor her memory by indulging in a slice of cake (preferably chocolate) or by telling a joke that would make her laugh. Rest in peace, Amerah. You will be dearly missed.

You can to the family or in memory of Amerah Lowry.
