Amber Rutledge, beloved daughter, and friend, passed away on November 9, 2025 in Rome, Georgia at the age of 40. She was born on September 9, 1985 to Richard and La Trell Rutledge.

Amber attended Cedartown High School where she excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. She had a passion for reading and could often be found with her nose buried in a book.

Despite her battle with ovarian cancer, Amber never lost her sense of a positive outlook on life. She faced each day with bravery and grace, inspiring all who knew her.

Amber leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will never be forgotten. She may not have had children of her own, but she was a mother figure to many and always had an open heart and listening ear. She is preceded in death by her “Grandmother” who she taking care of before she passed away. She is survived by her father Richard Rutledge, her mother La Trell Rutledge, her uncle Travis Garmon, her cousin Selina Burgamy, her niece Jasmine Simmons, and her nephew Alexander Simmons.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Amber. Your light will continue to shine on in our hearts forever.
