This obituary is administered by:

We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of our beloved friend, brother, husband, father, and all-around jokester, Amarion King. Born on September 9, 2001, in Springfield, Illinois, Amarion lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of basketball.

Amarion was known for his infectious smile, his killer jump shot, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Whether he was hitting the courts, hitting the gym, or just kicking back with his loved ones, Amarion always knew how to have a good time.

He is survived by his son Semaj King and his spouse Carlesia Redmond, who he loved with all his heart. He also leaves behind his parents, Andre Mitchell and Ariyonna Smith,His bonus family, Tyana King, Niobe King, and Tyrese Mcintire.

Even though we may never again hear his jokes or see his moves on the court, Amarion will always hold a special place in our hearts. May his spirit live on in the memories we shared and the love we hold for him.

Rest in peace, Amarion King. Keep shooting hoops in heaven and making everyone laugh up above.
