DERBY, U.K. — Amanda Hansen Burrows, originally from Wheaton, Ill., passed away suddenly on Jan. 6, 2014.

Amanda was born on Dec. 4, 1984, in Aurora, Ill. the beloved daughter of Pam and Harris Hansen of Laurinburg. She is survived by her parents, siblings Ryan Murphy and Shannon Murphy, niece, nephews, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members.

Amanda was preceded in death by her husband Phil Burrows, of Derby, U.K. from leukemia in December 2012, her sister Erin Murphy, her brother Michael James Murphy II, and her grandparents.

There will be a memorial mass at St. Mary Catholic Church in Laurinburg at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor at BB&T Bank.
