Alvert Swan, 73, of Bushnell, Illinois, passed on April 30, 2023. Alvert was born on January 01, 1950. Alvert was born in Macomb on February 2nd 1947, to father Charles Thomas Swan and mother Lillian Louise Swan. The oldest of three sons, Albert didn’t have the opportunity for much formal education. He helped out on his family’s small farm and worked any odd jobs he could find starting at an early age. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led to him enlisting in the Army at age 18.

Alvert was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers Samuel James Chambers and Donald Richard Chambers. He is survived by his wife Janice Brookes; children Larry Chambers and Louey Chambers; grandchildren Lily Smith and great-granddaughter Sally Louis.
