Alma LouiseNaureckas1918-2017Alma Louise (Furman) Naureckas passed peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. Mrs. Naureckas was born on January 7, 1918 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Walter and Hazel Furman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cdr. John M. Naureckas. She is survived by her brother Walter Furman, CA and daughters Nancy Naureckas Wills, WA and Laura Naureckas Wolfersperger with her husband Kim Wolfersperger, FL; grandchildren Stacy Newton Kelly, WA and Wendy Newton Lodge, HI; three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family would like to give thanks for the wonderful care given by Joyce Glass, Emma Hughes, Heather Mitchell, Southern Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility and all the wonderful people working there, Nurse Marge Lopez, CNA Jackie Simmons, CNA Erica Lewis, the Regency Hospice workers Dana, Elise, Mike and Christy. Special thanks also to the Oak Lawn Funeral Home Family. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow.
