Allison Almond, born on December 29, 1971, passed away on September 25, 2024, in Roanoke, Virginia, United States. She is survived by her father, Bruce Alan Thompson, and her mother, Mary Alyce Collins. Allison was the partner of Rodney Wayne Almond and together they had two children. Annika Renne Almond, who is married to Loyalty Alexander, and Taylor Christian Almond, who is married to Autumn Simms. Allison was also a proud grandmother of two grandchildren.

Allison worked at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and was known for her dedication and compassion towards her patients. In her free time, she enjoyed expressing her creativity through art and writing. She had a true talent for bringing beauty and meaning to the world around her.

Allison's sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and colleagues but most of all by her very loving close friend john hicks.Her memory will live on through the love and kindness she shared with everyone she met.
