Alice Marie (Guyton) Smith, age 88, of Brookville, PA, went to her eternal home in Heaven on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born on April 11, 1927, in Brookville, PA, to the late Alexander and Margaret (Snyder) Guyton. For over 75 years she was a member of the Brookville Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 71 years. She retired from the Brookville Glove Company. Alice loved the outdoors and picnicking. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. Her kindness to friends and family will always be remembered. Alice is survived by 3 daughters, Marsha (Joseph) Northey of Brookville, PA; Mary (Scott) Johns of Summerville, PA; and Margie (Clyde) Bullers of Brookville, PA; 1 sister, Martha (Raymond) Fitzgerald; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers; Robert E. Guyton, and John Guyton. As was her request, there will be no formal services and interment will take place at the St. Johns Cemetery (Windy Hill), Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
