Alice Filiatreau, 74, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at her residence. She was born on March 14, 1942, in Fairfield to the late William "Bill" and Margie Gritton Greenwell. Alice was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Robinson and Betty Herbig; and two brothers, Joe and Bernie Greenwell.Survivors include her husband, George Filiatreau; a daughter, Marie Filiatreau (Tony Underwood), of Buffalo; four sons, Jodie (Frances) Filiatreau, o f Bardstown, Mike (Helen) Filiatreau and Mark (Melissa) Filiatreau, both of Cox's Creek, and Chuck (Angel) Filiatreau, of Bloomfield; a sister, Judy Miller, of Taylorsville; a brother, Ronnie (Joyce) Greenwell, of Cox's Creek; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m.Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Jason Harris and the Rev. Terry Bradshaw will be the celebrants. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, with prayers 6 p.m. at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
