SAN ANGELO - Alfred Jimmy "Popo" Bejil, age 43, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, April 28, at a hospital in San Antonio. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2, at St. Mary Catholic Church in San Angelo with the Rev. Terry Brenon officiating. Burial will be in Knickerbocker Cemetery. Jimmy was born on Jan. 25, 1962, in San Angelo to Alfredo Sosa and Mary Morales Bejil. He married Cynthia Garcia on Dec. 30, 1978. He worked for Ethicon. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Cynthia of the home; daughter Krystal B. Perez and her husband, Ozzie, of Tampa, Fla.; son Alfred J. Bejil Jr. of San Angelo; father and stepmother Alfredo S. and Bertha Bejil of Coynosa, Texas; mother Mary Luna of San Angelo; paternal grandmother Raymunda Bejil and maternal grandmother Emilia P. Morales, both of San Angelo; granddaughters Bethany Perez of Tampa, Fla., and Elise Bejil of San Angelo; grandson Juanito Xavier Gomez Bejil of San Angelo; brother Joe Bejil of San Angelo; sister Deborah Montez and her husband, Richard, of Arlington; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many more friends and loved ones.
