Alfonso Amaro SanchezSanta PaulaOn July 20 2017, the spark went out in the life of our beloved father, Alfonso Sanchez, but his imprint of his life will live on forever.Alfonso, lovingly called "Poncho", was born on March 24, 1939 to Eugenio and Santos Sanchez, in Santa Paula, CA. Where he lived until his passing.He is preceded in death by his parent, his brothers Joe Muro and Arthur Sanchez and his sisters Teresa Montoya and Rachel Carabajal.He is survived by his wife Ofelia, brother Ralph Gomez, daughters Sylvia Castillo, Christine (David) Hernandez, Rachel Sanchez Turner, son Eugene (Diana) Sanchez, step-children Rodrigo, Naomi, and Cesar Baltazar. Also 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a step-granddaughter.All those who knew him well knew he enjoyed watching TV (Dodgers/Blue Blood), listening to music and meeting for breakfast with his family every second Saturday of the month. But most of all he loved cruising around town in either his BLACK or RED Cadillac. Honking and waving to everyone he knew.Dad, we will miss you, but we know you are with our Heavenly Father, and we will one day be re-united. Until then God Bless You and you will live in our hearts forever.All are welcome to attend and celebrate our father's life. The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers.The recitation of the rosary will be held on Thursday August 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 427 N. Oak Street in Santa Paula.
