Alfa Araujo de Gil, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2024 in Sunrise, Florida at the age of 74.

Alfa was born on January 12, 1950 to José Ignacio Araujo and Leonarda Sandoval. She married the love of her life, Julio Gil Peñalver, and together they raised three children: María Gabriela Gil, Gabriel Ignacio Gil, and Julio Jr Gil.

Alfa was known for her love of dancing and reading. She could always be found on the dance floor at family gatherings or curled up with a good book in her favorite chair.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, children, and nine grandchildren. Alfa will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and love will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
