She married Henry Ashly in 2010 and they lived together in Massena, New York. Together they raised 2 children Ella Mae Ashly, Emma Jane Ashly.
Alexis graduated from Massena Highschool in 2002 and received a degree from the Clarkson University in 2006.
Alexis worked at Potsdam Memorial and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
