She was a 4th generation lifetime longshoreman of ILWU Local 46 and took great honor in carrying on the family tradition. Two of the happiest days in her life were when she brought her beautiful babies into this world. They were the most important part of her life and served as her greatest motivation in all that she did. Her mother was her rock and her strength and she was proud to call her sisters her best friends. She admired and looked up to these women, honoring them every chance she could. Alexis had the kindest heart and valued her relationships with her closest friends and family above all else. She lived life to the fullest in all that she did and especially loved the outdoors. She enjoyed swimming, traveling, dancing and relaxing at the beach. As long as Alexis was outside, she was content. She always had to have music playing in the background and often you could hear her singing the oldies, which was one of her favorite genres of music. She cherished every moment and every memory, believing that every day of life was an incredible blessing. She could always be seen with a smile on her face, full of laughter and loved making others laugh. She looks forward to seeing all her loved ones in paradise and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that were fortunate enough to know her beautiful soul.
