Aleta Blanche Christy, 95, of Everett, WA, passed away on October 27, 2016. Blanche was born on January 16, 1921, in Decatur, Texas to Della Mae and Basil Wall Hannan. She was raised in the Everett area and graduated from Everett High School. In 1946, she married Osborn W. "Chris" Christy. Blanche worked for some time as a practical nurse for nursing homes and then Providence Hospital retiring in 1983. She was a member of Madison Christian Church and taught Bible School there. Blanche also volunteered with the March of Dimes. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, camping with her family and loved her arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and her brother. Blanche is survived by her loving family, two sons, Bill (Sharon) and Larry (Penny); her four grandchildren, Kim (Frank) Fillioe, Ed (Dani), Bryant and Cody (Misty) Christy; six great grand-children, Andrew, Kendric and Christina Fillioe, Jacob, Ryan and Erik Christy; and great great-grandson, Kendric. Memorials may be made to the . The Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Evergreen Cemetery, Everett.
