Albert Edward Fuchs Jr.AGE: 90 • HazletAlbert Edward Fuchs Jr., 90, of Hazlet, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Albert was born on August 12, 1926 and was raised in Union. In his early adulthood, Albert proudly served our country with the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. On April 23, 1955, Albert and his wife, Ann Marie, were married and began their life together in Delaware. Shortly after, they relocated to Irvington, before settling in Hazlet to raise their family. Before retirement, Albert worked for Prudential Insurance Co. as a Tax Accountant for 30 years in Newark. He was a devout communicant of Holy Family Church in Union Beach, where he was also a member of their Holy Name Society and a very active volunteer with their St. Vincent de Paul Society. After his service with the Army Air Corp during WWII, Albert developed a great love and appreciation for aviation. In his spare time, he was also an avid fisherman.He was predeceased by his parents, Anna (Muldoon) and Albert Edward Fuchs Sr., his daughter, Lynn Feigenbaum, and his brothers, Edwin and Paul Fuchs. Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ann Marie (Karmilovich) Fuchs, his loving children, Ann Marie Sheehan and her husband, James, of Warwick, NY, Albert Edward Fuchs III and his wife, Deborah, of Hillsborough, Ellen Albrecht and her husband, George, of Hazlet, and Colin Fuchs of Denville. He is also survived by his dear son-in-law, Scott Feigenbaum and his cherished grandchildren, George Albrecht, Frank Rodgers, Alexander Fuchs, Dana Fuchs, and Deryn Albrecht. Albert will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 28th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM and Saturday morning, July 29th from 10:15 to 11 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N, Hazlet. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, July 29th at 11:30 AM, Holy Family R.C. Church, Union Beach. In respect of his family's wishes, Albert will be privately cremated and his cremains will be entombed at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.
