Brennan, Albert Jr.Lifelong Norwalk ResidentAlbert D. Brennan, Jr. age 90, beloved husband of Margaret C. Hixon Brennan, passed away on January 28, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1927 and was a son to the late Albert D. Brennan Sr. and Hazel Miller Brennan. Al graduated from Norwalk High school in 1944. He was a proud Veteran of World War II and served in the United States Navy. Al worked as a U.S. Postal Carrier in Norwalk for 24 years until his retirement in 1990. His nickname was Heavy Duty because he always finished his route every day. Al also previously worked at Lane Motors and at St. Mary's Church for many years.Al was predeceased by his daughter Cathy Jean Sisk. Survivors in addition to his loving wife Margaret include a son Charles Brennan and his wife Shari; son-in-law Ed Sisk & his wife Lori; sister Louise Harris and her husband Paul; grandchildren, Jarrod Sisk and his wife Michelle, Tom Sisk , Kelly Krzeczowski and her husband Scott; great grandchildren, Emma Jean, Brennan, Katelyn & Arshei. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.Al enjoyed his long retirement and especially liked going to the Family Diner in the morning to have coffee and talk with all his friends. He also enjoyed watching sports and game shows on TV.Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
