It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Gonzales, who was born on October 9, 1944 in Violet, Louisiana, United States. Margaret peacefully left this world on May 27, 2024. Margaret was a beloved wife to Alan Gonzales, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Together, they were blessed with two children, Shari LaBiche and Cindy Franz with spouse Ogden. Margaret was also a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents David and Clara Thienemen,

In addition to her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Margaret had a passion for cooking, sewing, and bowling. Her talents and hobbies brought joy to those around her and will be cherished memories for years to come. Visitation will be held on May 31, 2024 from 4:00 pm till 10:00 pm at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens located @ 701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043 Visitation will resume on June 1, 2024 from 8:00 am till 11:00 am, followed by a private burial.
