Guider, Agnes S.Agnes S. Guider passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 25th in Norwalk, Ct. Formerly of Stamford, CT, Agnes was born on May 2nd, 1920 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn where she was raised by parents Joseph and Aneila Schultz. She met and married her loving husband and best friend Theodore Guider. The two were married 48 wonderful years until Theodore's death in 1992.She leaves behind her three children, Nancy Gilbert and husband Mark, Janet Landon and husband David, and Wayne Guider and wife Daryl, grandchildren, Erica Fisher and husband Scott, Thomas Gilbert, David and Victoria Landon, great grandsons, Charles, Leo and Quinn Fisher, and many well-loved, nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her sisters Laura, Josephine and brother John.Agnes' life was filled with love, laughter and adventure. She worked for many years for Raytheon in Stamford. After her retirement she travelled extensively with her husband Ted and continued on even after his passing. When she wasn't planning her next adventure, Agnes spent her days planning trips for the Suburbanites, listening to books on tape and laughing with family and friends.While Agnes leaves behind many of those who love her, may they find comfort knowing she has found her place among family in heaven.Calling hours will be held Friday October 28, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral home, 2900 Summer St. Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday October 29th, at St. Cecelia's Church, 1184 Newfield Ave. Burial will immediately follow at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery.
